CHA publishes a broad portfolio of titles across fiction and non-fiction; commercial and literary. It has four hardback imprints, which between them publish something for every reader.
Century is its commercial powerhouse with a list that includes brand-name novelists such as John Grisham, James Patterson and Katie Fforde, and autobiographies from major celebrities such as Peter Kay and Katie Price.

Hutchinson publishes quality fiction writers such as Robert Harris, Sebastian Faulks and Alison Weir, and high-profile non-fiction works including Bill Clinton’s My Life, Alastair Campbell’s The Blair Years and A.N. Wilson’s The Victorians.
At the more literary end of the spectrum, William Heinemann publishes acclaimed fiction including top quality crime writers such as Kathy Reichs and John Harvey and celebrated novelists such as Richard Powers and Rachel Seiffert; the list also publishes prestigious non-fiction from writers such as Tony Judt.
Random House Books is the most recent addition to the company, publishing an original and innovative non-fiction portfolio spanning Big Ideas to Soft Reference.
The CHA dedicated paperback list, Arrow, is one of the most successful imprints of its kind, publishing a wide range of writers from big-book-a-year brands to bestselling paperback originals.
